  1. What is OPResume?
    OPResume is the easiest way to display and manage your portfolio online. We originally built it because we needed something with which to organize our own work. It turned out so well that we decided to share it with you.

    We provides a variety of simple tools, so you can manage your online portfolio and change its look very easily any time you want. The core idea behind our design is to keep your images and videos at the forefront, so they're always the focus.

  2. Is it free to create a career site?
    Yes. You can create a career website for free. Our free plan provides you everything but has limitation of storage (10MB) and custom domain connection.

    When you upgrade to our paid plan, you will have 1GB storage, remove ads and connect to your own domain rather than http://OPResume.com/Username.

    We recommend that you sign up for the free plan, take it for a spin, and see how you like it. If you find yourself needing more space or additional features, upgrading is simple.
  3. What information can I show on my career site?
    You can create About, Resume, Projects and Contact pages currently. We plan to add Blog page in future.

    In About page, you may add your skills, areas of expertise, about you, profile image and contact information.

    In Resume page, we provide easy resume builder so you can simply fill out the forms and your resume is created behind the scenes. This resume can be downloaded as pdf or word document in various styles.

    In Project page, you may add project summary, video clips, images, photo gallery or all manner of files such as pdf, doc, zip, etc. You may add as many projects you want.

    In Contact page, you may add your contact information, mail form and social network icons.

    Any of these pages can be hidden if you do not want to show.
  4. How do I use a custom domain?
    1. First off you need to buy your domain if you haven't already done, buy a domain for $7.49. Once you have a domain, at your registrar you will need to configure the domain's A record/AName to point to "208.109.154.186".

    2. Test your domain After adding the A record to your registrar you should test the settings by using the form in the top right corner of this page. (Keep in mind that changes made to a A records can take up to 72 hours to take effect.)

    3. Sign in to your account.

    4. Click on the Premium tab. If you are using free version, please upgrade to premium.

    5. Click "Change" button on Domain Binding section and type your domain name. (It may take up to 24 hours)

    6. As simple as that! Now enjoy the freedom of knowing that your very own domain leads to a beautiful professional page.

  6. How much does premium plan cost?
    Premium plan is $3.75/month (was $7.50). Yearly subscription is $37.50 (was $75).
  7. What happens to my career site when I upgrade?
    All previously uploaded content and settings to your career website will remain unchanged. You'll simply be able to add more content and have access to new features that you can read about here.
  8. Is OPResume secure? What if my data get lost?
    All personal information given to us is kept private. We won't ever share things with third parties. For a full breakdown of our Privacy Policy, take a read here. We also use up-to-date security measures with a firewall and various encryption techniques to keep things safe. Additionally, when upgrading to our paid plan, we use a secure sign up form called Secure Sockets Layer — note the https next to the URL — which encrypts all information you send to us.
  9. I don't need a career site anymore. How can I cancel my account?
    Are you canceling because you landed a new job? If so, CONGRATULATIONS!! Would you mind sharing your story with us? Did you know that you can always set your Career Website's privacy setting to "Private" to prevent any information from being viewed by anyone but you? This way it'll be there when you're ready for your next career move. Tell me more about privacy and sharing

    If you still want to cancel your account and delete all items you have created, you can do so from the "Dashboard – Settings - Account". We hope you will consider joining us again someday!
  10. I can't remember my login name or password.
    No problem! If you've forgotten your login name or password, just click Forgot Your Login Name? on the login screen, tell us which email address you supplied when you first joined OPResume, and click Request Credentials. We'll send you an email telling you which login name you chose when you signed up.

    If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot Your Password? on the login screen, tell us which email address you supplied when you first joined OPResume, and click Request Credentials. We'll send you a link to a page that will help you reset your password
  11. How do I change my password?
    You can change your password from your OPResume dashboard. Here's how:
    1. Login to your account, click Settings - Account.
    2. On the Password block, click change.
    3. In the Current Password section, type your current password.
    4. In the New Password section, type your new password. Then, type it again to confirm.
    5. Click Apply Changes.
  12. Can I change my login name?
    You can change your login name from your OPResume dashboard. Here's how:
    1. Login to your account, click Settings - Account.
    2. On the Email block, click change.
    3. In the New Email section, type desired new email address and click Check Availability.
    4. If it is available, click Apply Change.
  13. How do I change my website's URL?
    You can change your career site's address from your OPResume dashboard. Here's how:
    1. Login to your account, click Settings - Account.
    2. On the Site ID block, click change.
    3. In the New Site ID section, type desired new Site ID and click Check Availability.
    4. If it is available, click Apply Change.
