I am currently in search of a career based position to utilize my acquired qualifications. Pertinent information regarding education and skills acquired is included in this presentation for employment.

While completing my Bachelors of Applied Science in Criminal Justice I was given the challenging yet rewarding position as a Security officer at the Christ Hospital Emergency Department and Psychiatric Unit. My duties included but were not limited to monitoring the admission process for voluntary and involuntary patients (psychiatric and non psychiatric) to ensure the safety of the hospital staff and visitors, and communicate clearly with hospital staff, patients, and the general public while conveying professionalism and authority. I also obtained knowledge of psychiatric disorders, acceptable security procedures, and the people skills required to calmly reason with agitated patients and have proven to act decisively in emergency situations with people who may be or quickly become openly hostile.

As an aspiring Criminal Justice professional I managed the security badge office at two of the largest P&G site locations. There I created and implemented a filing system to expedite information sharing and look-up, and assured the admissions process operated in an efficient manner. I was also responsible for operating security systems, controlling building access requests, managing incoming and outgoing phone calls including taking messages, delivering messages and fielding emergencies; monitoring communications to supervisors, and tracking and responding to all email exchanges for that department.

My credentials include but are not limited to the following:

“Success is defined as the attainment of monetary wealth, physical possessions, different ranks or positions, honors one might achieve, fame, and so on. To societies majority, this would be considered true. Then there is the minority, whom believe in a more complex definition of such, and reaching those limited expectations are just simply not enough. The minority can hold those same “achievements,” in the palm of their hands, and not experience that same uplifting feeling of accomplishment. The majority, identifies with societies very limited definition of what success is; and whom is considered successful. Doing just enough, the minimum, to get what they desire; feeling satisfied to reach or attain whatever they might be after; settling, and feeling successful.
To the minority, the standards of societies definitions to achieve success, is not much of an achievement at all. Success is not just to have claim of fame, fortunes, or other riches; but what you do with it when you have possession of it. What you do with it, is really where true success can be reached; by helping others, feeding the poor, using your free time to volunteer your own physical talents, and other heroic actions of the sort. Success is not just to receive an award based on a guidelines minimum. True success is how hard you worked; the time, effort, perseverance, and determination you expressed along the way; Not just to reach the guidelines minimum, but by how much further you reach out to a higher level of expectations.
It is my personal belief, that true success is measured not by societies limited requirements, but by the much higher set of standards you set for yourself; going past what is expected. For this, I know I have truly been successful.”
